On behalf of the 4th LIFEMUN Secretariat and Organizing Committee, I welcome you all to the 4th LIFE Model United Nations Conference!

As 2025 unfolds as one of the most unpredictable years of history, our world is confronted with unprecedented and heightened geopolitical conflict, economic instability, and shifting global alliances. In light of these challenges, the 4th LIFE Model United Nations seeks to disrupt the status quo and restore balance in the international community. 

This year’s theme of  “Cooperation in Crisis: Redefining Global Parity for Global Resilience” highlights the urgency of reevaluating how nations are able to transform and adapt to modern crises. Our largest conference to date, featuring six committees, welcomes the next generation of global leaders as they engage in meaningful discourse to reintegrate equity and harmony in our fragmented world.  

The 4th LIFE Model United Nations is guided by the words of Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (ESV): “Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up!” 

No nation, institution, or individual can stand alone in the face of today’s adversity. True resilience is built on companionship and mutual support, proving that compassion and collaboration bears the greatest benefits above all else.
